REASON FOR CONTRACT

Waterleau wants to ensure both its staffs and subcontractors are working safely for it embraces the safety agenda in their operation. Also Waterleau wants to support the client’s agenda in safety as safety of workers and property is a mandatory KPI in Diageo

TASKS

  • Risk assessment of all activities that is within the client’s scope and develop a safe operation procedure for the workers.

  • Issuing work permits and ensuring all hazards are well mitigated and the workers are aware of them.

  • Ensure all the workers are provided with the right PPE’s depending on the task they are undertaking and its environment.

  • Conduct a tool box talk before the start of any task to discuss the Hazards involved and way to mitigate them.

  • Organize the necessary training for any new staff I (work at height, fire safety, manual handling)

TASKS

  • Planning and implementing safety policies and procedures in

  • compliance with OSH international standards

  •  Induction of visitors and workers on QHSE procedures and policies.

  •  Planning and implementing training of employees in work site safety practices

  •  Participate in checking the quality of PPE and other related safety items

  • Performing site safety surveys, inspections and audits to ensure preventive measures and compliance have been implemented.

  •  Designing and implementing safety programs for designated workplace

  • Recommending ways to improve health and safety in the workplace

  • Responding to on-site emergencies and accidents

  •  Conducting post- accidents investigations

  • Authorization of permit to work

  • Conducting daily toolbox

REASON FOR CONTRACT

Hypro Engineers are tasked to recover raw CO2 gas generated during fermentation of wart in a brewery @750kg/HR

TASKS

  • Review the contractor’s safety plan and monitor compliance with the plan Implementation of HSE procedures, training within the company in compliance to industry standards and coordinating health and Safety issues.

  • Liaise with the Hypro staff and ensure that high standards of safety and safety documentation are maintained a cross all works.

  • Prepare Risk Assessment & job risk assessment. Conduct safety inspections and assist in compiling monthly safety reports.

  • Responsible for determining, requesting and checking the safety equipment required in every project.

  • Review accident summary reports and take appropriate action when accident trends are unfavourable.
